Dear One,
You wonder how a person can become immune to feelings of remorse about hurting other human beings or animals. It began the first time the abuser began the evil deeds. A little bit of humanity in the abuser died with each act of abuse. In other words, evil overcame good in the person.
As the demonic spirit of abuse takes over more and more of the emotions of the perpetrator of evil, which caused the hardness of heart, more and more compassion and tender emotion for others dies. Eventually there is very little humanity left and only the spirit of abuse is lord in the life of the person. There is no regret, no remorse, no compassion and no heart. At that point there is enjoyment in the abuse for the abuser, an emotional stimulation, either sexual or physical.
The hardness of heart and desire to abuse can happen relating to only one person, disgust for that one individual whom the abuser deems as interfering in the life of the abuser, taking away some of his selfish rights and the attention from others that he feels he deserves.
There is only one way to remedy the degradationthat is inside of the abuser and that is with total transformation, My gift of being born of My Spirit where My Holy Spirit chases out the evil spirit of abuse and replaces it with My character of Love. The heart of stone is replaced with a heart of flesh.
I do it every time, replace evil spirits with My Spirit, the Spirit of Love. That is the only way to transform an abuser from having evil intentions to having new, loving intentions.
