Dear One,
Jesus continued to use normal earthly things in order to compare them to His truth. Before His death, He wanted His followers to be comforted by the fact that He was only following My orders and that His death and resurrection would benefit them also, as well as His doing My will in dying for the sins of the whole world. In a parable He compared His death and resurrection to a grain of wheat, saying again "verily, verily" in order to get their complete attention because what was going to follow was a truth that they must understand. He said that unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it cannot bring forth more fruit. He encouraged the listeners who desired to serve Him to continue following Him. He said that where He was going, that His servants would also be allowed to go. He promised them that if they would follow Him that I would honor them. (John 12:23-26)
When Jesus asked them what should He say to Me, that He should let this cup pass from Him? Then He answered himself and said, no, that this very thing is the reason that He came to earth, to die for the sins of the whole world and then to be raised from the dead and become alive again.
I spoke My Amen to His statements when I spoke from heaven, saying that I had glorified Him and I would glorify Him again. Some people heard and said that an angel had spoken and other people said that it only thundered. Those who believed, heard My words. Those who did not believe only heard thunder. It is the same in your world today: some hear My voice and others only hear thunder. Jesus said that the words came from heaven for the benefit of the hearers. (John 12:28-30)
Then Jesus proclaimed the truth that the devil would lose his authority in the earth because of what Jesus was going to do in hell before He rose from the dead. He said that because He would be lifted up from hell that He would be able to draw all people to Himself. The people quizzed Him about the law saying that Christ would live forever and now Jesus was saying that the Son of man would be lifted up. They asked who the Son of man was. (John 12:31-34)
Jesus answered that the Light was with them for a little while but now it was going to not be with them for a short while. He told them to walk while the Light was still with them because darkness was going to come upon the earth. He identified the people who walk in darkness, saying that they don't know where they are going. He cautioned the listeners to continue in the Light and to believe in the Light.
My children become light when they accept My Holy Spirit to live in their spirits and then allow Him to permeate their entire body, causing them to become My witnesses of love in the earth. (Luke 11:35-36)
Jesus said that you are the light of the world and that He is the light of the world. He said that you must shine as a bright lamp in the earth, lighting the way for others to see the path to Me.
The demons who have not been cast out of the earth will still try to snuff out the light that is inside of you. He does it by putting cares, worries, fretting, fear, guilt, condemnation, strife, doubt and unbelief into your thoughts. When that happens, know that the devil is trying to rob from you your joy, your love and your peace. Cast him out from you and the earth into the abyss. I cast him out of My heaven and you have the authority, as My child, to cast him out of your world and into hell. When you do, your light shines brighter and brighter. (Philippians 2:15)
When you become My light in the world, as Jesus is the Light, then you must protect the light, treasure it and enjoy its benefits, which are many. Praying in the Holy Spirit will build up spiritual power, which is called faith. Pray in the Spirit and walk in love with everyone and you will never forfeit the light that I give to you.
