Dear One,
You talk about and teach your children that appearances of others are not a basis upon which to judge them. The principle behind that is that you do not know a person's heart.
You must learn to apply the same truth to your life as far as what appears to be happening in the natural world. The occasions should not be judged bad or good because they may be part of a greater plan in the heavens which will develop into a victory for you in the earth.
You may see a person whom you think is making a bad choice and so you judge him without knowing his heart or his motivations. That decision might be the best for him in the situation, yet you judge him for his decision. Then your inaccurate judgement will come back upon you and judge you.
You might also see a situation that you think is tragic to you or a loved one. You forget that with your fervent prayers and your being led by My Spirit that I will make all things work together for good for you and your family.
So pay heed when I say that appearances do not matter. If you judge them as being bad, they will become bad. It you judge them as being good, they will become good for you and the people involved. Do not let appearances determine your emotional stability.
Remember the garbage into gold recycling that I taught you originally. Even the things that appear bad can be orchestrated into something good.
To the pure in heart, all things are pure.
Love, God
