Communion is simply a call to "come into union" with me. It is an invitation to set some time aside to spend with Me, putting your body and mind into restful mode so that your spirit can commune with Me and glean insights for you. Sometimes it is putting your mind on Me, even though your body is working or playing, so that I can infuse you with My higher power and we can exchange ideas, words, leading and guidance. Since the life of any living being is in the blood, communion is exchanging life for life, my powerful life for your weaknesses. I give you power and you give Me your weaknesses.
Your religious communion is a representation of the true communion which comes from your time spent with Me where you are infused with power from on high. True communion always sets you free from something, from spiritual ignorance, earthly worries and lack of direction. After true communion with Me, you are never the same. You become more supernatural, more spiritual, more an overcomer and more free.
Communion is unity. It is sharing. The lack of blood flow in a body is when death begins. As long as blood is flowing, all of the bodily functions are working. It's the same thing spiritually. Spiritual communion with Me brings new life to you and changes your negative thoughts, attitudes and actions into positive ones, My words to you become flesh, changing your personality which will then change your situation and your circumstances.
Revival always begins with communion with Me. That is where true life begins and continues in power.
