"Give and it shall be given to you, good measure, pressed down and running over, shall men give unto your bosom."
Giving is a form of love just like forgiveness is a form of love. Mercy, compassion, empathy, grace are all different forms of love. They all meet a need in others and will eventually come back and meet a need in you.
Giving out of your bounty is a godly thing to do. It is giving from a pure heart because you have been blessed. Giving to others will take a burden off of them and relieve them for a time.
Participating with Me in distributing My gifts of the Holy Spirit to others, gifts of healing, knowledge, wisdom, miracles, tongues, interpretations, faith and prophesy are certainly giving from your storehouse and My storehouse.
Giving is a holy act because even though you have handed the goods or money or wisdom or healings to others, I am really doing it because I am the one who has blessed you. That is why it is holy. You have only been the middle man, the deliveryman.
Don't let your giving stop there. You should pray for the people to whom you give money or goods or spiritual gifts so that they will become self sufficient and be able to give to others, also.
It's all a circle of love.
