Dear One,
I alert you to attitudes that need to be changed. I alert you to thoughts that need to be changed.
You talk about "stinking thinking" as being a problem in your life and the lives of all of My children. Those negative thoughts do have an aroma in the atmosphere around you, as well as inside of you, dispensing putrid smells derived from worrying thoughts, fretting thoughts, anger thoughts, hatred thoughts, get-even thoughts, divisive thoughts, confrontational thoughts, impure thoughts, unbelief thoughts, strife thoughts and the like. You have been around people who were consumed with those type of thoughts and you couldn't wait to leave their presence for your own preservation.
Anything that is obsessive in your thought life is "stinking thinking" because those thoughts have taken the place of honor in your life, becoming your lord. The cure for the spiritual bacteria of obsessive thoughts is to pray in the Spirit about the person, the problem, the situation, the circumstance or the event. Substitute prayers and positive imaging for the negative thoughts and pray until you are released, having received peace for your mind instead of having thoughts that exalt themselves against the knowledge of what I can do in the matter.
When you have prayed until you have peace, then you know that My will in the matter will be done rather than the negative images happening which previously flooded your mind because of obsessive worrying.
When asked to give examples of prayers, Jesus said to pray that My kingdom would come and that My will would be done on earth as it is in heaven. When you pray in the Spirit you are bringing My kingdom into the trying situation and it is guaranteed that My will certainly will be done in the matter. You will emerge victorious in the situation.
Do not take the matter back into your own hands again by letting worry or vain, negative imaginations flood your mind again. When they try to exalt themselves in your mind, tell them that you are going to battle them again with My spiritual prayer words which destroy their power completely. Like you said in the past to some negative thoughts and images, "Take this, this and this," will do the work as you assaulted the demonic spirits of worry and unbelief with My Holy Spirit power words.
Don't accept anything into your mind that exalts itself against Me and My ability to answer your prayers. Jesus said to ask and you will receive. Plain and simple advice, isn't it?
