Dear One,
To nurture means to give life to others, emotional, spiritual and physical life.
When you minister love to another person, you are supplying a new life source to him or her. It only takes listening, giving encouragement, giving compliments and extending validation. Those actions produce tangible and visible results because nourishment of the soul and nourishing of the body both feed a particular part of the whole person. Both are necessary for proper growth of the personality and the body.
You have noticed in yourself that a critical, judgmental look can rob you of your confidence and self respect. When your ego is affected, you can't love others because you don't love yourself. Jesus said to love others as you love yourself.
My children should not participate in stealing confidence and self respect from another person by being judgmental and critical. Stealing is stealing, no matter if it is robbing a person of earthly goods or robbing a person of his confidence and self respect. My commandment of, "Do not steal," covers everything; but, first of all, it covers not stealing the confidence and self respect of another person by projecting judgmental and condemning words or looks.
Judgment and criticism project death to others because of the damage to his or her self confidence and self respect.
Encouraging, validating and complimenting looks and words project life to others because of the love shown and the nurturing of the soul where the ego of humans reside.
My children bring life to others by loving words and loving attitudes.
Love, God
