TRUTH or LIES

Dear One,

When you fear a bad report you are defeating yourself. You lend your faith to the evil that has planned the negative report when you fear a negative report.
In other words, you believe for something bad to happen rather than having faith for good things to happen.
Job had that problem. He believed that his children would sin so he made sacrifices for them before they even thought about sinning. He imagined them sinning, so that gave power to the devil to entice them to sin. He fell for a trick of the devil, fearing an evil report of his children sinning. He believed for them to sin, so they did.
I said do not fear an evil report. Do not have faith for a bad report. Instead, believe Me for a good report. Believe Me and my promises instead of imagining that a bad report will come to you. Believing Me is what faith is.
It is said that Abraham believed Me and it was counted to him as righteousness. In other words, Abraham believed Me and what he believed happened.
Don't believe in bad things happening. Believe for good things to happen.
If you believe in bad things happening, they will because you have faith for them.
There is no power for bad things to happen unless you have faith for them to happen.
There is no power for good things to happen unless you have faith for them to happen.
Imagining bad things to happen will guarantee them.
Imagining good things to happen will guarantee them.
It[s a matter of believing either Me and My promises or believing the devil and his bad reports.
You've spoken and sung that you know the Good News Guy, Jesus, so you don't fear a bad report. Continue to base your faith on that firm foundation.

TRUTH FROM THE MOUTH OF A CHILD

My friend Jane has an adorable seven year old great granddaughter named Mercedes. Mercedes is a very spiritual little girl, as I have written about her in the past.
I'm going to tell you about a recent incident that Jane told me about. You will be convinced of the youthful wisdom of her great granddaughter.
It seems that Mercedes was spending the night with Jane and her husband. When they went to pick her up at her house she was in the carport carving a small pumpkin for her younger brother Timothy. She was determined to keep her promise to him.
As Mercedes was cleaning the seeds and pulp out of the pumpkin she kept saying, "Yuk." She was determined to finish the pumpkin for Timothy so she insisted on taking it to the home of her great grandparents to finish. She finished it and presented it to Timothy. He was overjoyed with her creation.
When it came bedtime, the special time Jane has with her of reading her a story, Mercedes said to Jane, "Nanny, I have a great idea. Instead of you reading to me, let's do what we used to do. Let's talk about Jesus."
The child told her Nanny that she had something wonderful and good to share with her. She reminded Jane of the bad yucky stuff inside the pumpkin that was so hard to clean out. Then she said, "Nanny, that's how God does it in our mind, He just starts working on our minds and keeps working until all the yucky stuff is cleaned out and it's all gone."
Jane said she wishes she could capture and describe in words Mercedes's countenance as she was speaking that truth. She said there was the look of complete peace on the child's face.
Jane describes her bedtime talks with Mercedes as their "God Time" in their lives. I'll bet Mercedes has a lot of God times in her life. She's blessed that way. I'm going to enjoy watching that child grow up and hearing other stories about her insight into God.
Mercedes doesn't know that the Apostle Paul told believers to be transformed by the renewing of their minds in Romans 12:2. She didn't learn it from the Bible. She learned it straight from her Heavenly Father.

ROLLER COASTER RIDES

Dear One,

There are spiritual laws which apply to men.
One spiritual law is the law of sin and death which is instituted by the devil, whose object is to rob, kill and destroy.
Another spiritual law is the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus. That Spirit is My Holy Spirit through whom all life is instituted.
All human beings have the choice of living under the law of sin and death or living under the law of the Spirit of Life that was in Christ Jesus.
The workings of the law of sin and death are immorality, impurity, licentiousness, idolatry, enmity, strife, jealousy, anger, selfishness, dissension, division, envy, drunkenness, carousing and the like. Those workings will rob, kill and destroy you eventually.
The working of My Holy Spirit in the life of a person are love, joy, patience, goodness, mercy, kindness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
Anyone who chooses to live under the influence of the law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus is free from the law of sin and death. My Spirit gives you the power to refuse to operate under the law of sin which brings death because My Holy Spirit is greater than any temptation sent by the devil.
Greater is He, the Holy Spirit, than the demons from hell, so the Holy Spirit gives men the power to refuse the temptations from hell.
Because My punishment for the devil was that he would be ostracized from My presence and sent to hell because of his efforts to kill and destroy My children, when My children choose to follow the ways of the devil, obeying his temptations, then My children have chosen to inherit his punishment, too. I do not punish them, they choose to side with evil and therefore they inherit his punishment.
But if My children choose to turn from the ways of the law of sin and death by turning away from the wicked ways of the devil, then if they will come to Me to participate in the law of the Spirit of Life they inherit My promises of the abundant life.
It's always a choice. Sometimes a minute by minute choice.
You must not make life a roller coaster ride of participating in the Spirit of Life that was in Christ Jesus and then temporarily participating in the law of the spirit of sin which brings death. The effects of that choice might not be immediate. If it was immediate you would never choose to be tempted away from the Spirit of Life. But the devil waits with his punishment of you so that you won't relate the hell on earth that comes from participating in his law of sin and death to any of his activities in your life. Trust Me when I say that he wants you to pay the full price, which is death of body, death of relationships, death of finances, death of your mental health and death of your spiritual blessings that come from Me.
You are free from the law of sin and death through the Holy Spirit inside of you. Listen to the advice and teachings of My Spirit and refuse to listen to the emissary of the spirit of death, the devil.

GIVING PERMISSION

Dear One,

Paul said to "let" Me be true and every man a liar. He was saying to "LET" My words be reality and to "LET" the negative words of men be lies.
The key to that truth is that you must "LET" My promises be true in your life, you must "LET' Me be who I am in the earth, you must "LET" Me be your Father, you must "LET the Holy Spirit be your guide and comforter, you must "LET" Me be your healer, you must "LET' Me be your provider and your shepherd, your deliverer, your constant companion and you must "LET" me be your peace. "LET" me be your savior in times of trouble.
When you "LET" something be, you allow it to be. In other words, you give permission to it to become reality. You must "LET" Me provide what you need, knowing that My character provides the power for it to be.
Letting can be a command or a request or a prayer. It is allowing Me to do what I said I would do.
If you don't pray without ceasing, then you are not LETTING Me be the Lord of your life. Praying in the Spirit at all times is letting Me be Lord in every situation.
Letting My words have first place in your life is giving Me permission to prevail in every matter because you have learned My promises and you have given Me permission to establish them in your life.
Letting Me be who I am in the world and in your life is allowing Me to be your Loving Father.
LET Me take care of everything. You just need to allow Me the pleasure of being the caretaker, the fixer, the beginning and the end, the author and the finisher.

FINISHED

Dear One,

When I said through the Apostle Paul that you should look to Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith, I mean to do precisely that:
Consider His actions;
Consider His wisdom;
Consider His faith;
Consider His attitudes toward demonic spirits;
Consider his love for all men;
Consider his reliance upon Me through the Holy Spirit.
I meant to consider every aspect of His life, not only His ministry but His attitudes toward people.
Consider His rebellion against binding traditions which brought rejections from the establishment in the church.
Consider all of those truths and lean upon them.
Consider that Jesus was the author of your faith. He began it by ushering in the New Covenant with men. He is the finisher of your faith because He finished the prophesies of the Old Covenant when He came to earth. He finished My New Covenant of Sonship with men and it is perfect. He finished it when He rose from the dead and sent the Holy Spirit to live in you.
He is the author of your faith because He gives you the gift of faith. He is the finisher of your faith because He always carries out what He has promised. He finishes every promise that He made. He finishes every job that He begins.

REGENERATION AND REJVENATION

Dear One,

Jesus said that the Holy Spirit would show you things to come. So seeing future events is merely a matter of allowing your mind to become connected to the eye of your spirit where My Spirit dwells. Then My Spirit projects His future plans and accomplishments onto the screen of your human mind.
The Holy Spirit can also show you the devious plans that your enemy, the devil, has planned so that you can put a stop to those plans immediately and you won't have to endure the devastation that he has conjured up for you.
The future is not set in stone. It is dependent upon many things, but primarily upon you, whether you will act as My child in the earth by praying in the Spirit and walking in love or whether you will yield to the works of the flesh which are instituted by the evil one.
I said through the Apostle Paul that your citizenship is not of the earth, so the worldly laws of wearing out by age and degeneration do not apply to you. My laws of constant regeneration apply to you. Those laws apply to My children who live by the dictates of the Spirit.
The nation of your citizenship is spiritual. The benefits of being in My family are wisdom, health, joy, love, kindness, goodness, mercy, grace, patience and peace. There are no laws that can negate those spiritual attributes.
Become heavenly minded and your body and mind will follow. They will become rejuvenated with every day that passes.
My promise for you is life more abundantly. Listen to My Spirit and you will have it.

THE WAY

Dear One,

Remember that I said that when problems come that I have already provided a way of escape. That's why Jesus said "I am the way, the truth and the life." I am the way out of everything evil or unfortunate that can happen to you in your life.
Jesus also said, "I am the light of the world." You very often need the right way illuminated when you are caught in the traps of the devil. I will show you the perfect solution to every situation so that you will emerge from misfortune and be brought into the light of My perfect ways.
I will always enlighten you with revelation and wisdom and insight so that you can find solutions to every problem.
When light is shown in darkness, there is no more darkness because the light envelops the darkness.
So when you find yourself in darkness with no idea which way to turn or what to do, call upon My abilities to bring light into the darkness and illuminate the way out.
Don't ever forget that there is a way out of every bad situation. I have already provided it. My Holy Spirit will lead you and guide you into all truth. That was a promise and it is still a promise.
