STEWARDSHIP

Dear One,
Stewardship is lovingly taking care of the material things you have, the people you love and your own minds and bodies.
Many people think that stewardship is giving money to an institution, but a steward is one who is placed in charge of a household or property.
Responsibility is a part of stewardship, being responsible for all the blessings you have.
Sloth, irresponsibility and neglect are three of the enemy's weapons against stewardship.
An absentee father is not a good steward of his family. Stern and unloving parents are not good stewards of their family.
Irresponsible money management is not being a good steward of financial blessings.
Giving unwisely in response to emotional pleas is not good stewardship, especially when one's own family is being neglected.
Procrastination results from not allowing yourself to be a good steward of your time, your occupation or duties in your home.
Gluttony, binge eating, anorexia and bulimia are of the enemy and the effect is making you neglectful of the needs of your body.
Lack of exercise is not good stewardship of your body.
Proper nutrition and cleanliness are results of good stewardship.
Idle time, unbridled thoughts, impure thoughts and fantasizing are not being a good steward of your mind. Excessive entertainment through the media are results of poor stewardship of your time and your mind.
Good stewardship in all areas causes the doors and windows of heaven to open and pour blessings upon you.
I continue to love you regardless of your good stewardship or your poor stewardship practices because I am Love. But, bad stewardship plants seeds in your spiritual garden which will return after their own kind. Good stewardship will return to you the blessings you want and deserve as My child. Bad stewardship will return to you the weeds that you have planted.
Good stewards plant good seeds and therefore reap good harvests.
Love, God
