BLESSINGS FROM BEING A LIVING SACRIFICE

My Dear Precious Child, Paul begged the Christians at Rome to make their bodies a living sacrifice that is holy and acceptable to Me with spiritual worship. He warned them about being conformed to the world, but instead told them to be transformed by the renewing of their mind so that they would be able to judge what is My will in everything that you do, judging what is good, pleasing and perfect according to My guidance from the Holy Spirit. (Romans 12:1-5) He cautioned the Roman faithful not to think more highly of themselves than they should. He asked them to estimate themselves soberly in keeping with the measure of faith that God has given to them in the power of the Holy Spirit. He was speaking specifically relating to the gifts, reminding them that just like people have one body with many members with different functions, that so, too, are you all one body in Christ, individually members one of another. He wanted them and you to remember that your gifts differ according to the favor given to each of you. He named prophesy and said that its use was in proportion to the person's faith. Then he mentioned the gifts of ministry, service, teaching, exhortation, giving, organization, and works of mercy, saying they should perform their gifts cheerfully and respecting the gifts of the other members. (Romans 12:6-8) Paul was concerned about their love, and encouraged them that their love must be sincere, detesting what is evil and clinging to what is good. He wrote that their love must be with the affection of brothers and sisters in My family. (Romans 12:9-12) Also of concern to Paul was that the Roman believers would become slack in their zeal but instead he encouraged them that that they, and you, must be fervent in spirit since each of you serve the Lord. He also stressed that they should be patient when under the devil's trials, always persevering in prayers.(Romans 12:12-13) He instructed in the letter that they should look after the needs of the saints just like they look on their own needs. ( Romans 12:13) His admonitions in the letter included that they should always bless the people who persecute them, blessing them instead of cursing them as well as rejoicing with those people who rejoice and weaping with the people who weep, having the same attitude toward everyone. (Romans 12:14-15) He wrote to them that they should put away all selfish ambitions and to associate with people who are of low station in life. (Romans 12:16) A specific warning was that they should never be wise in their own estimation. He encouraged the believers to never repay evil with evil, seeing that their conduct was honorable in the eyes of everyone. (Romans 12:17) As much as is possible, he told them to live at peace with everyone. (Romans 12:18) Especially important was his instruction to never avenge yourselves, quoting that I said that vengeance is Mine, that I will repay. I seek vengeance on the demons behind a person's sins and persecution of others, not upon the person who is only being controlled by a demon. (Romans 12:19) Instead, My Holy Spirit through Paul wrote that if an enemy is hungry that they should feed him, if he is thirsty, give him drink and by doing that they would be pouring hot coals upon the heads of their enemies. (Romans 12:20) He was referring to My angels spiritually pouring hot coals on the heads of your enemies to burn out the demons who are doing the evil. (Ezekiel 10:1-2) In doing the Holy Spirit's instructions through Paul, he said they would not be conquered by evil, but they would conquer evil with good. (Romans 12:21) I endeavor through all means to get My instructions to My children, instructions which will make their lives on earth a paradise just like My heaven. You must follow My advice to live in the earth as the paradise that I intended for it to be. Your Father of Good Fatherly Guidance
