Dear One,
You have often experienced the immobilizing effect that fear has upon you. You have lived under its influence for many years. you were afraid to act, afraid to think and afraid to confront the one who was angry. So anger won in those instances; or, more precisely, fear won.
If you will refuse the prompting of fear to withdraw yourself from the conflict but instead move against fear and anger with wisdom and truth, you will see different results. When you speak truth in love, then you will rob fear of its power rather than you being robbed of your power.
The object of fear in any situation is to shut you down emotionally and physically so that conflict and all its evil works will continue their hold in your life. Their object is to be lord of your life.
However, when you stand up to anger and fear and speak the truth firmly in love, then you will see anger and fear both subside and tuck their ugly tails and retreat. They use intimidation to their benefit, but when you refuse to be intimidated you have taken the first step of boldness toward freedom from both fear and anger.
Do you really want fear and anger to be lord of your life? Think about what they have to offer., which is defeat.
Or, do you want to continue to have Me be the Lord of your life? Think about what I have to offer, goodness and kindness and joy and success.
Seek the voice of Wisdom when you are confronted by anger. Then speak that wisdom in love and it will calm the raging sea just like Jesus spoke to the winds and they ceased.
Fear not is My most frequent command. It will benefit you to fear not.
