Dear One,
Joy is a condition of the heart, not an emotional exercise precipitated by an outward situation. Joy is not contingent upon outward circumstances. Joy is present when there is turmoil, disharmony, strife or hatred, but joy cannot manifest its presence when there are negative emotions present in you. You can get rid of negative emotions by speaking to them and then declaring that My joy is your strength, your delight and your inheritance as My child.
My joy is resident in your spirit at all times and is there to draw upon at all times regardless of your outward situation.
Because you are my child, joy is present, and you know that you are free from the effects of bad situations. As a result of our close relationship, bad things are always turned into good things. Now, that is a reason for exuberant joy.
