SPEAK TRUTH

Dear One,
When you speak the truth in love, it means that you endeavor to preserve the dignity of the other person, and you speak the insightful raw truth about the situation without destroying the ego of the other person. You preserve his self esteem while still speaking truth to him.
When another person needs guidance, corrections or reproof, his self esteem is already in a fragile condition because of an apparent weakness, so you need to reveal the truth of the situation with finesse, with gentleness, kindness and love. The motive is to get the situation corrected without blame or without injury to a fragile ego.
I will speak through you to the other person if you will submit your mind and conversation to me. My Words are tender, yet convincing. Wisdom isn't always sugar coated, and it is often firm, sure and unswerving in its presentation, yet it is kind to the listener. I often spoke in parables to get the truth across to men. It was always, and is still always, received by the believer in a spirit of acceptance. I will speak through you in a way that is acceptable and loving, yet convincing.
When you speak the truth in love, you make disciples of Our way of speaking and correcting, because love continues to attract others to itself.
Love, God
