HUMILITY INHERITS BLESSINGS

Dear One, I said that the meek are blessed and they will inherit the earth. Meekness is the same as humility. Your example of humility is Jesus. Even though He was righteous, He was willing to be thought sinful so that He would be put to death for the sins of the whole world. He did not pridefully assert His own righteousness. He remained humble even unto death. Humility is the opposite of pride. Pride asserts its own importance and rightness, but humility takes a back seat to the rights of others letting them have their own opinions and being right in their opinions and beliefs.
Judging comes from pride because judging others is saying that Jesus was wounded for your transgression, bruised for your iniquities and by His stripes you are healed, but judging others is saying that Jesus was not wounded for their transgressions, bruised for their iniquities and by His stripes they are not worthy of being healed. Judging others is a child of pride and pride always goes before a fall. That’s why Jesus said that a person who judges will be judged by the same degree of judgment with which he judges. Humility is allowing others to have their own religious, social and political opinions without your judging them as being wrong. The only people Jesus opposed are the Scribes and Pharisees who thought it was their right to judge others. Jesus did not judge the people who were deemed unworthy by the hypocrites. He healed their wounds and cast out their demons and He taught them the keys to My kingdom. When you are tempted to judge someone, instead of judging the person let this thought be in your mind toward the person: Jesus was wounded for you, bruised for you and by His stripes you are worthy of being healed and whole. Humility is forgiving a person because you know that the source of their problems is the devil. Religion has taught you to be prideful, lording your religious and political beliefs over the beliefs of others. I will teach you to be humble. Humility starts with your having the attitude of a child, putting your hand in my hand to be guided into all truth and therefore becoming like Me. My humility gave you a will of your own, the right to make your own decisions. All the time I knew that I had a Savior who would die for your wrong decisions. Humility does the same thing in your life toward others. You have a role model, your Brother Jesus. Your loving Father Matthew 7:1-5; Luke 12:56-59; Mark 7:20-23; Matthew 18;4-9; Matthew 23:18-33; Isaiah 53:5.
