Deception is a form of trickery.
Deception is effective because it always has within it an element of truth, but that truth is the outer sugar coating over the inner lie and trickery.
Deceit is used because the inner lie is so blatant that no man would fall for it, so satan has to sugar coat it with an element of truth so that it will be swallowed hook, line and sinker. Yes, the motive for the trickery in the deception is to sink you in his mire of confusion, to rob you and to kill you.
Deceit is the modus operandi of the wolf in sheep's clothing, the wolf who covers his spiritual lies with acceptable sheep's clothing.
Refer to the way the enemy of all men deceived Adam and attempted to deceive Jesus. He still uses the same tricks, the same half truths to deceive you and the rest of humanity. You must always discern his trickery and refuse to believe it. He will attempt to trick you with promises of power, promises of control over people and also promises of using his authority, his religious bondage, to change your life. After he snares you, then he will give you defeat, disease, confusion, conflict and his most effective weapon, which is fear.
Trust My Holy Spirit to reveal him and his deception so that you will not be deceived. Receive My truths so that you will not be deceived.
