SMELL THE ROSES

Dear One,
You find in your life that some things are more important than others.
Love for family is more important than their outward appearances.
Respect for others is more important than speaking your mind. I asked you many times whether you would rather be right or righteous.
Teaching by example is more important than forcing obedience.
Living for each precious moment is more important than living in the future when you think things will eventually be perfect.
Smelling all the flowers in the world is more important than retreating into your little private cubicle of life and being exclusive.
Watching a sunset is more important than waiting to be entertained by others.
Seeking My truth is more important than seeking riches. When you seek Me, everything is added to you.
Watching the antics of a child is more important than traveling to distant lands.
Giving to others in any form is more important than winning a fortune.
Do the important things, enjoy the obvious gifts that I have given to you. Forget seeking the frills.
Enjoy loving others, respecting all men, teaching by example, living for each precious moment, smelling the flowers, seeking truth, observing children and giving to others. Do the important things and you will perfect your spiritual, mental and physical health.
Seeking things that other people possess makes you jealous, envious and greedy.
Seeking Me and My kingdom make you happy, healthy, wise and prosperous.
