BATTLES AND WARS IN THE BODY OF CHRIST

My Dear Precious Child,
James, the prophet, asked where the wars and battles between Christians first began.  Then he answered it himself by saying that it is precisely the desires inside your own flesh which starts the conflicts.  He wrote that you want something and you haven't gotten it, so you are prepared to kill for it.  Or maybe it's an ambition that you can't satisfy, so you fight by force even your Christian brother or sister in order to get your own way.  Then he wrote that the reason you don't have what you desire is that you haven't prayed for it.  When you do pray and you don't get it, he wrote, it's because you prayed improperly, wanting something merely to indulge your own selfish desires.  (James 4:1-3)
Then James chided them royally when he wrote that some of the believers of his day were unfaithful like adulterous wives.  He asked them if they realized that making friends of the things of the devil that are in the world is making Me their enemy.  He questioned the believers if they consider the scripture wrong when it says that the Spirit, whom He sent to live in you, wants us for Himself alone.  He does not want to share you with the demons who run rampant in the world because He knows that the devil will curse your life.  But James, realizing that I am exceedingly generous to My children at all times quoted that I oppose the proud but I exalt the humble.  He encouraged the believers to give in to Me and to resist the devil and he will flee speedily away from you.  He even said that the nearer you are to Me and My love in your thoughts, the more close I can come to you. (James 4:4-7; Isaiah 59:1-2)
James warned the believers to clean their hands and clear their minds and then he accused the believers of wavering.  He even told them to look at themselves in their wretched condition and weep for their own misery.  He knew that they had wandered away from strict adherence to the new covenant of My Holy Spirit, departing from faith in Christ Jesus.  He said they should feel miserable instead of laughing and they should be gloomy instead of being happy. He challenged them to humble themselves before Me and he wrote that I would lift them up.  He was disgusted that so many of My children had yielded to demons again and had left the instructions of Christ Jesus behind them. (James 4:8-10)
His advice to them was to stop slandering each other because anyone who slanders his brother or sister is speaking against My words and condemning My words of advice.  He wrote that if they condemn My words then they had stopped following My instructions and become a judge of them.  He insisted that there is only one lawgiver and that I have the right to acquit or to sentence so you must not give a verdict of guilty upon any person. (James 4:11-12; Matthew 7:1-2)  When you do, then you are making yourself a god.
James told the Jewish Christians to whom He wrote that people say that they are making plans to travel and do business to make some money, but they should say if the Lord is willing then we shall be alive to do this or that because you never know what will happen tomorrow.  He insinuated that to proudly claim that you are going to do something is wicked and he even went further and said that everyone who knows what is the right thing to do and doesn't do it commits a sin. You know that is true because of the truth that the devil is standing in the shadows just waiting to entice you to follow his will and capture you for his kingdom so that he can curse every part of your life. (James 4:13-17)
James had the gift of exhortation, the gift of exhorting My children to exit from the ways that leads to destruction and death and instead to get back onto the straight and narrow path that leads to life.  He did it dramatically in order to get their full attention and exhort them to enter back into My grace of the Spirit so that they would walk in liberty again.  The devil's sins have dire consequences but My children are so use to yielding to his enticements that they often take steps backwards into doing his will.  What eventually follows are his consequences which are destruction and death.  My children often forget what they learned from the words of their Savior about the works of the devil.  Jesus Christ, the righteous. told them that their enemy, being the devil, comes to rob, kill and destroy them; but He, the Christ, came that they might have life abundantly while they live in the earth.
James was heart sick that My children had left Me so soon and were back to having disagreements, wars and battles with each other, making the sacrifice of Christ Jesus of no effect in their lives.  I am the Father of Peace and Christ is the Prince of Peace.  I sent Him to earth so that My children could live in the joys of peace while they live in the earth and then to live with Me eternally.
Listen to the warnings of the writer of Hebrews, to Paul and to James.  They wrote their letters to Christians to save you from making mistakes by making the wrong choices in your life of obeying the temptations from hell instead of choosing to obey My voice which leads to love, joy, peace, goodness and kindness.  When you join with the devil in opposing people, you authorize the devil to create a barrier between yourself and Me through which My blessings that I send to you  cannot penetrate.  Listen to Christ Jesus.  Listen to Paul.  Listen to James.  Listen to My Holy Spirit.
I am always speaking to you through the Holy Spirit.  Are you always listening?
Your Father of Life Giving Words
