Dear One,
Blessing your enemies starts with an act of your will, a decision, a choice. It doesn't start with an emotional, overwhelming feeling of forgiveness.
Every choice begins with an act of your will, not an emotional derivative.
When you choose to bless your enemies, then later you will have a feeling of forgiveness and compassion because blessing them and praying for them has caused you to gain insight into the cause of their activities and you understand their motivation. Then the emotional feeling of forgiveness will come to you.
Decide to bless your enemies and to do good to those who spitefully use you, then you will receive the same blessings back into your life because you have sent blessings to those whom you originally felt were undeserving of anything. Blessings you send are boomerangs, returning to you.
Choosing to bless your enemies and to pray for those who spitefully use you are a good choice for you and for the other person. Anytime you can bring blessings into the world, you have made it a better world.
Love, God
