KINGDOM LIVING - HUMILITY

Dear One,
In teaching about My kingdom living in the earth which I desire for My children, Jesus taught about humility.  He was in the home of a Pharisee who had invited people to eat with him.  Jesus healed a person at the party and the Pharisees who were present had a bad attitude toward Him because it was the Sabbath. He told them that they, themselves, pulled their own oxen out of a well on the Sabbath. That erased the "attitudes" off of the faces of the Pharisees. (Luke14:1-6)
At that dinner party Jesus noticed that men came and took the places of honor at the table.  He told them and you a parable about a wedding feast where many people are invited and He advised you not to take a place of honor at that wedding party because someone of eminence might come and the host would have to tell you that that place of honor was reserved for the important person and you would have to yield your place to the important person.  There would be shame for you if you had to be asked to move. (Luke 14:7-9)
Jesus said that you must take the lowest place and then if the host comes and tells you to move to the place of highest honor, you will be honored by the host, not by yourself.  He proclaimed that everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he whom humbles himself will be exalted.  (Luke 14:10-11)  He was speaking a truth about My kingdom of love, telling the Pharisees that My kingdom belongs to the humble and poor in spirit, not to the prideful, "Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." (Matthew 5:3)
The Pharisee who was host received an instruction by Jesus.  Jesus told the host that when he had a party that he should not invite his friends and family because they would invite him back in return.  Jesus told him to invite the poor, the maimed, the blind and the lame and he would be blessed because they could not repay him and I would repay him with blessings. (Luke 14:12-14)  Jesus was reiterating the truth that He previously told about the motivations of the Pharisees when they do things to be honored by people, praying in public and giving arms in public, taking seats at the head of the table.   He instructed them and you that when you do anything to be seen by people as being holy, that you will have no reward from Me because your motivation was to be honored by people for being holy and you got your reward in the minds of people who praised you for being holy.  Jesus had taught that your righteousness must be more than the righteousness of the Pharisees or you will not experience My kingdom living while in the earth.
Hypocrites were not known to be humble.  Many Pharisees were hypocrites.  They were known to clang cymbals and announce their alms giving, plus praying in public so people would say how beautiful they prayed.  Jesus said to pray in your closet and I will reward you openly, and to give your alms in secret, not letting your left hand know what your right hand is doing, and I will reward you openly. (Matthew 6:1-6).  When your praying and giving of alms is done to be honored by people, the motivation is from the devil's temptation to be prideful.  Pride always goes before a fall. The devil's spirit of pride wants you to fall from honor and be humiliated.
Jesus was well acquainted with the principles or keys to kingdom living in the earth.  His teachings were given to cause you to want to seek My kingdom by taking His advice and avoiding the devil's temptations that come into your mind.
Every word from the mouth of Jesus was important.  My Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth, amplifies every word and makes it flesh in you, conforming you into My image in the earth.  Kingdom living is your right as My child.  It is your inheritance.
My Holy Spirit is your Advocate who appropriates your inheritance for you.  He does it with your cooperation.  (John 16:12-15)
     Your Father of Kingdom Blessings
