SERVANTS OF ALL

Dear One, Jesus said that if a person desires to be the greatest in the kingdom that he must first be a servant of all. So having a serving attitude is paramount before going into ministry. There is a reason for that admonition because there are always reasons for all of My instructions to My children, just like there are always reasons for your instructions to your children, either advice that will keep them safe or advice that will help them succeed in life. When a person has a serving attitude, that person doesn't deem himself or herself more important or more gifted than anyone else. A person with a serving attitude has humility and meekness, always willing to be taught and instructed by the person in authority. A person who becomes a servant for Me is willing to be taught by My Holy Spirit, eager to learn first and then serve others. Paul said not to lay hands quickly on anyone. For ministry, he knew that laying hands for ministry on someone who has not first developed a serving attitude will allow pride to enter the person and then that ministry will fail because pride always goes before a fall. He knew, just like Jesus knew, that a person should first serve people until he or she is established in My love, established in My power, established in humility and established in the strategies of the devil because the devil seeks whom he can devour. A young person in My kingdom who has not first become a servant of others will be easily deceived and consumed with pride if he or she becomes a minister before learning the humility of being a servant. It is after a person has effectively fulfilled the position of being a servant of all that I know that I can call that person into ministry for Me, because the person has learned valuable lessons from Me while serving others, one lesson being not to think more highly of himself or herself. Inexperienced people who quickly become ministers at the hands of other people, and not from Me, can become puffed up and prideful, all from the adoration of My other children who heap praises and accolades upon them. They are ripe for falls from any successful ministries because of pride. When a person serves others, serving the less fortunate ones in My kingdom, that person learns humility and never thinks more highly of himself or herself than others. If you desire to minister to others, you should first develop a serving attitude, and you should willingly serve others with humility. After you do that, you will be equipped to handle the work of ministering to others because you are established on a firm foundation of love and meekness.
