YOKES OF BONDAGE

Dear One, Don't let anyone or anything steal the liberty that you have found in Me. My Holy Spirit through Paul cautioned that you should, "Stand fast in the liberty wherein Christ has made you free and do not be entangled again in the yoke of bondage." There are many kinds of yokes of bondage. There are religious yokes of bondage to religious institutions with laws that heap guilt and condemnation upon you if you do not perform their rigid requirements. Religious yokes of bondage use their obligations and duties to add to your burdens instead of your being allowed to be free from burdensome responsibilities. Their object is to make you feel like the savior of the organization, that it's up to you to make it succeed. There are political yokes of bondage which will entangle you in controversy, judgment, evil speaking, anger, hatred, hopelessness, panic, fear and dissension which are based on diverse political beliefs. They will bind you to fear and the effects of fear, which are many. They will perpetuate strife in your life and where there is strife there is every evil spirit. There are social organizations with yokes of bondage which will also heap obligations and duties upon you to make you feel responsible for their success or failure. They will require your blood, sweat and tears in perpetuating their agendas.

You will suffer rejection, abandonment and loss of respect if you refuse their yokes. There are self imposed yokes of bondage, attitudes and expectations of your own which require you to please people by over involving yourself in their problems and dramas, causing problems and drama in your own life. There are yokes of bondage in bad marriages which exist on physical, mental and sexual abuse, on anger, domination, control, forced seclusion and torture. That is not a marriage. It is slavery. There are yokes of bondage to worry, fretting, confusion, unbelief and hopelessness which come from religious, social, political or self imposed yokes of bondage. The Holy Spirit said to stand fast in your liberty, meaning to refuse to give up one iota of your freedom to anybody or anything that requires your 100% devotion and involvement. The devil has sent those yokes to defeat you. The Holy Spirit said that your freedom has come with a price, which is the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Christ is the victorious part of My Son's Godhead. His sacrifice was for your freedom from the very things that require your 100% unquestionable devotion to their agendas. Those agendas are yokes. Yokes are dangerous. They can be heavy enough to cause your neck to bend downward toward the ground with burdens and thoughts of defeat. That is not being victorious. There are yokes that can choke you, demanding your allegiance to them and only to them. Those yokes choke off your life supply from Me because they demand that their life and success depend upon you and your full support. The Holy Spirit said not to be entangled in the yoke of bondage. It is always through yokes of bondage that death comes to My children. To be entangled is to be twisted together in a confusing mass, being snarled and meshed in defeat. Jesus said those whom I set free are free indeed. He said that His yoke is light because He is meek and lowly in heart. He said that in Me you will find rest for your soul. Jesus said with every yoke of bondage from satan you will find defeat and death. Resting in Me is a part of My heaven. Liberty from entanglements bring rest to you. Love, God Galatians 5
