My Dear Precious Child,
Even though the laws of your country require that all people are given equal opportunities to succeed and be happy, it does not mean that the hearts of the people of your country are in agreement with those laws. When the hearts and souls of the people are changed by education, regeneration and love, then the new laws will be able to take precedence over the practices of inequality.
As an example, take for instance the old covenant laws of Israel that called for an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth; in other words, what someone does to you, you could legally do the same thing to them and not suffer in the courts. The only thing that the old laws produced was more arguments, more lawsuits and more killings, similar to the judicial practices in your country. (Matthew 5:38-48)
When Jesus Christ came into the world, one of His first commands was for My children not to return evil for evil done to them but instead that they must always return good for any evil done to them. His new commandment was not met with agreement in the Jewish communities because their hearts had not been changed. They still had faith in the old laws that gave them permission to injure someone who had injured them. Jesus Christ's new commands were ridiculed by the religious and political leaders who controlled the people through fear and punitive laws because their hearts had not been changed and they had faith in their human laws which had been infused into their religious laws which only increased lawbreaking.
It was the very same teachings of Jesus Christ which taught to His followers behaviors that were contrary to their religious and political laws that caused the political and religious leaders to plan to have Him arrested and killed for being a lawbreaker. (Matthew 12:14) He was merely giving them loving, workable ways to treat people instead of their continuing in old, ineffective laws which just increased lawbreaking. That is why the apostle Paul called the old laws the laws of sin and death. (Romans 8:2; I Corinthians 15:56) If someone sinned under those old, ineffective laws the person was put to death. The hardhearted, hypocritical hearts of the officials rebelled against change.
The reason for sin or lawbreaking increasing under the old law of an eye for an eye was because if a person injures another person, called sinning, that person is yielding to the temptation of the devil. If the injured person reacts by returning the injury, which is yielding also to the temptations of the devil, then the kingdom of hell is given authority to invade the lives of both people which will curse them and their families, just like Adam and Eve whose sin authorized the devil to invade the world with his demons through which he curses mankind.
When Jesus Christ revealed a new reaction to people who injure you, He was also revealing a spiritual interaction between heaven and earth. He said that if someone offends you by injuring you by words or deeds, that you should return good for the evil that was done to you. As a result of your doing good to the person instead of evil, My own heavenly family of love is invited to flood into the situation with blessings and rewards flooding into the lives of both people and their families. In that scenario, the devil loses and My kingdom of heaven succeeds in the earth because I can bless people instead of their being cursed by the devil. (Romans 12:17-21)
It is with the power of My Holy Spirit that I am able to empower My children to do what Jesus Christ taught. My Holy Spirit reveals the working of goodness and the working of evil. (John 16:7-11; Acts 1:1-8; Acts 2:1-4) When you are empowered by My Holy Spirit you have the spiritual strength to respond with goodness to every evil work of the devil toward you. You return good for evil done to you and My kingdom of heaven rewards you with My good works which bless you. It is in your praying in the Holy Spirit that I deal with the demon behind the person's injury to you. When you pray in intercessory prayers, My Holy Spirit exercises My power to cast the demons out of the person and the situation, sending them to hell. (Matthew 13:6-42) Then you shine like the sun in the world.
My reputation in the earth is enhanced because you have behaved like a peacemaker, revealing in human form that I am a God of love and peace.
