JEALOUSY, RIVALRY, ENVY, ANGER AND STRIFE
My Dear Precious Child,
You have seen from the History and Instruction Book called the Bible that after Adam and Eve made the devil their master in the world that their genetic DNA became programmed with evil tendencies or characteristics. You saw that blame, guilt, condemnation, shame and fear were the first evil characteristics to display themselves in Adam and Ev's DNA. As a result of their binding themselves to the devil, Eve also was consumed with the desire for a husband to rule her life and I told her that she would have physical and emotional pain from her children. Adam was cursed with a desire to dominate his wife and that the ground that he was to till would be cursed with thorns and thistles, that he would always have to sweat vigorously in his work, and that he would return to the ground from which he was formed. I took Adam and Eve out of the Garden of Eden, placed them east of it and placed an angel to guard the way to the Tree of Life.
In the record of the appearance of demonic curses that revealed themselves in the lives of Adam and Eve the next demons appearing in the genes of their family is when Cain became jealous of his brother Abel. Cain was a farmer, a keeper of the soil which had been cursed by the devil, but Abel became a rancher, a shepherd, a keeper of flocks. Cain became jealous that his product from the ground as an offering to Me which was not as appreciated as was Abel's offerings of cattle and sheep. The fruit of Cain's labor could not be equal to Abel's because the ground was formerly cursed by the devil. Yet, because of the devil's programming in Cain's mind of the demonic genes of jealousy, resentment, anger, rivalry, strife and sadness, his thoughts of killing his brother became the devil's answer to his problems. (Genesis 4:1-5)
I questioned Cain about his evil thoughts concerning his brother Abel and warned him that if he did well and resisted the temptations from hell in his thoughts that he would be able to hold his head up. I warned him that the demon of sin was lurking at the door of his mind but that he could be its master. (Genesis 4:6) Yet, the jealousy, resentment, rivalry, strife and killing temptations were so strong that Cain devised a plan to murder his own brother Abel, which he did. (Genesis 4:8) Those elements of demonic DNA have been passed down for generations in the heritage of people and have continued to cause people to desire to kill each other. In My command to Moses generations later, I gave commands that the children of Israel should not choose the devil's temptations over My guidance in their minds, as Adam, Eve and Cain had done, that they should love everyone as themselves and that they should not kill, all in an effort to coach people on how to avoid yielding to the devil which causes him to master them. (Deuteronomy 6:5; Leviticus 19-18; Matthew 22:37-40; Exodus 20:13)
Later the apostle James wrote to the people of the Church of Jesus Christ that My children must be alert to the same demons who caused Cain to kill Abel. He wrote that there should not be any strife among My children. (James 2:8-13; James 3:14-16) He wrote that where there is envying and strife there is every evil work, meaning that there is every demonic spirit working together with the envy and strife to cause people to bring the same end that Cain did, to commit murder. Those demons were evident in the cause of Cain's murder of his brother.
Throughout the history of people, the demons that flooded the earth when Adam allowed them to enter his domain have cursed the lives of My children. However, when the enemy came in like a flood, I raised up a banner, Jesus Christ, who conquered all demons in hell when He went there to pay for the sins of the whole world. (Isaiah 59:19) In My children of promise I have given to them My Holy Spirit whom I said would cast the demons into the fiery furnace. (Matthew 13:36-42)
Salvation from the temptations and curses of the devil is available to all of My children of promise. When you are born of My Holy Spirit and baptized in My Holy Spirit you have the authoritative and explosive power to resist the demons and send them into their final destination, which is the fiery furnace. Still, you need to be alert to the coaching of the Holy Spirit when He identifies those demons who tempt you in your thoughts. With the discerning of the spirits comes the authority to cast them out. You must learn to recognize jealousy, envy, anger, resentment and strife when they ease themselves into your thoughts from hell or you will yield to them and become their slave.
My Holy Spirit in you has power over all evil. Let Him exert His power over them through you.
