PARABLE OF THE CRAFTY STEWARD

My Dear Precious Child,
In this parable Jesus Christ taught about being honest in using the things of the world so that you must be sure that when the world fails you that you will be welcomed into My kingdom because you have done things honestly.  In the parable He spoke to His disciples about a rich man who had a steward who was reported to him as being wasteful with the property of the rich man.  The rich man called for the steward and fired him after he had written up an account of his stewardship.  Then the steward began to wonder how he was going to live since the rich man was taking his stewardship away from him.  He knew that he neither could dig ditches because he wasn't strong enough, nor could he beg because he would be too embarrassed. (Luke 16:1-3)
He thought and thought and came up with a plan.  The steward decided to call upon the people who owed the rich man and make a deal with them with the intent that when he was fired that they would at least welcome him into their homes.  He asked one debtor how much was owed.  The reply was that the debtor owed one hundred measures of oil.  The steward told the debtor to take the bill and write down 50 instead of 100.  To another one he asked how much he owed.  That man said one hundred bushels of wheat.  The steward told him to take the IOU and write 80. The master praised the steward for his astuteness in being able to at least collect a portion of what was owed to the rich man, even thought it was the dishonest way.  Jesus Christ said that the children of the world are more astute in dealing with their own kind than are the children of light but that is not a good thing for My children to do because it is not the righteous way which brings peace and joy.  (Luke 16:4-8)
Then Jesus Christ told the disciples to use money honestly, as tainted as it is, in your dealings in the earth, so then you make sure that when the money fails that you will be welcome into My kingdom because you have done the righteous thing.  His emphasis is on your being astute enough to use the treasures of the world honestly without them being your security and your idols.  He said that the man who can be trusted in little things will be put in charge of great things, but the man who is dishonest in little things will also be dishonest in great things.  He said that if you can't be trusted with little things you will be dishonest in great things.   He also said that anyone who can't be trusted with something tainted, such as money, who will trust him with genuine riches?   I certainly can't.  He also mentioned that if you can't be trusted with what is not yours, who will give to you what is your very own by inheritance?   You won't receive your rightful spiritual inheritance from Me if you gain anything by dishonest means because you are doing the will of the devil by dishonest means.  He also ended the parable by saying that no one can serve two masters, that you will either hate the first and love the second, or you will treat the second with respect and the other with scorn.  He said that you can't be a servant of both money and of Me. (Luke 16:13)
Jesus was emphasizing that there would always be a temptation to put your trust and security into money by using other people to your advantage, because the devil is always luring you away from honesty in order to capture you for his kingdom.  My truth says that if you are truthful, honest and trustworthy in all of your dealings, that I will see that you have everything that you need in abundance because you have continued to further My will in the earth.  (Luke 16:14-15)
Because of their love of money, the Pharisees laughed at Jesus Christ for what they thought was foolishness in His teachings.  Jesus Christ said that I know their hearts even though they pass themselves off as virtuous in the sight of people.  He emphasized that what is thought of as being highly respected by people is most often loathsome in My sight.
There are two kingdoms at work in the world, My kingdom of God and the kingdom of the devil.  You cannot mix the two.  If you do, you will be pouring new wine into old wineskins and the evil wineskins will break because they are of hell and the new wine of the Holy Spirit will be wasted.  Do not try to mix light with darkness. That is what the Isrealites did in the wilderness and they perished there on the way to the promised land that I had prepared for them.  The devil tempts you to do his will in the earth and then he condemns you and eventually kills you for obeying him because he is the father of death.
Once My kingdom of heaven has come into your life, only let My Holy
Spirit be your guide because He will guide you to do what brings spiritual treasures into your life on earth, those being unconditional love, joy unspeakable and the peace that passes human understanding. all of those being blessings and rewards from My Holy Spirit.
My rewards and blessings from doing My will in the earth are greater and more enjoyable than any financial earnings that you attain dishonestly, and there is no guilt that comes to plague you afterward.  Excessive guilt leads to death spiritually, emotionally, mentally and physically.
No Sin; No Guilt!  No Sin; No Death!
    Your Father of Honest Ways
